The Mei Yuen Hoover Scholarship for Students with Disabilities This scholarship was established in 1999 by a bequest from Ms. Mei Yuen Hoover to assist students with disabilities who wish to study at GW's Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. It is the goal of this scholarship to help these students attend school and complete their undergraduate and graduate education. Click here for further information. The Barbara Jackman Zuckert Scholarship for Blind Part-time Students A scholarship fund was established by Barbara Jackman Zuckert in 1985 to assist visually impaired or blind students seeking a higher education at The George Washington University. It is the goal of this scholarship to encourage enrollment of visually impaired or blind students (especially those pursuing studies part time) by extending financial assistance when other sources of support are not available. Please note that the scholarship was extended to include students with print disabilites such as dyslexia. Click here for further information. The Julius Fleiscman Scholarship for Blind or Visually Impaired Students The Julius
Fleischman Scholarship for Blind or Visually Impaired Students was established
by a gift from Julius Fleischman to assist students who are legally blind. It is hoped that the scholarships given by the Julius
Fleischman Foundation for the Blind and Visually-Impaired will help students in
the future to be able to manage their conditions and enhance their
opportunities for advancement. |
