Disability Awareness Week
Almost everyone has some question about disabilities.
"What is it like to have a disability?"
"What is the Americans with Disabilities Act?"
"What services are available on campus for students with disabilities?"
Disability Awareness Week is intended to provide answers to those and other questions.
Staff and students plan a variety of lectures, panels, and entertainment in which all participants can learn about what life is like for a student with a disabilitity. By the end of the week, the GW community recognizes that disabled students are just like any other--each with his or her own contribution to make.
Disability Awareness Week is held in October each year. Please visit this site again for more details.
