is University policy that all students comply with the laws of the
District of Columbia concerning registration of motor vehicles. Failure
to comply with District registration requirements will subject motor
vehicles to District parking citations. Under District law, students
living in Ward 2A (the Foggy Bottom area) are not eligible for
reciprocity parking permits for temporary residents. Rather, students
living in this Ward are required to register their vehicles with the
District in order to park in the Ward. For more information please
