Use Test Time Wisely

  • Set up a time schedule. Read through all the sections once. Budget more time for higher point-value sections or questions, and less time for less valuable sections.

  • Stick to your schedule. If you are not finished with a question or section, leave it incomplete and go on to the next. Six incomplete answers will usually receive more credit than three complete ones. Incomplete questions can be finished if time allows.

  • Do the higher point value sections or questions first. The goal is to obtain your maximum score on the test. Don't get caught with a 100% effort on 20% of the test - at best, your total score in this case will only be 20 points.
