Suicide Prevention Training
To help students, staff, and faculty members respond to distressed students, the University Counseling Center offers QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training. QPR workshop will train you to:
- identify the warning signs of depressed or distressed students
- learn how to engage these students
- refer them to the appropriate campus resources
We offer two FREE training options:
1) An in-person 2 hour interactive training session
2) An on-line1-1.5 hour session. Obtain your access code by emailing uccprog@gwu.eduwith your name and status at GW (i.e., student, faculty, or staff).
