Presentations for Student Groups
The University Counseling Center staff can develop educational presesentations to address specific situations or to meet the needs of student groups. Many of our educational, academic support, or psychological topics can be adapted in this way. Programs generally consist of mini presentations and group discussion. Some of our more popular presentation requests include: study skills and time management, sexual communication, sexual assault prevention, depression, eating disorders/body image issues and stress management.
If you represent a student organization or residence hall and would like to request a program you may either:
Fill out the presentation request form, and submit it online.
Call the UCC (994-5300) and ask to speak with the counselor-on-call to discuss your program request. Prior to calling, please review the presentation request form so that you can provide the information we will need to best meet your request.
Please allow approximately three (3) weeks for planning and development. During busy times of the semester we might not be able to fulfill all programming requests.
There is no charge for this service.
