Individual Short Term Counseling

College students typically encounter a great number of stressful situations or experiences during their university years often involving their academic, family, or social life. A staff of licensed psychologists and highly trained professional counselors are available to help you understand and cope with issues such as academic performance, motivation, self-esteem, self-direction, anxiety, depression, and loss. We can help you handle conflicts with your peers and difficult relationships with loved ones, friends or family.

All counseling services are confidential and the initial consultation is free. The Center is designed to provide short term counseling only. Students who would benefit more from an ongoing counseling arrangement will be assisted in finding an appropriate counselor in the community.

A fee of $50 for full-time students is applied to sessions beyond the initial consultation. This fee can be adjusted when there is financial need.
