| DIRECTIONS: |
If you are coming from the GW campus, walk up 21st Street, cross Pennsylvania Avenue and K Street. The entrance to our building is on the right hand side of 21st Street between K and L Streets. The entrance is across the street from the Stevens Elementary School. There is a staffed lobby desk and registration book. You can just sign in with your initials and "UCC" if you are asked to do so. We are located on the third floor, Suite 330, directly across from the elevators. |

Any currently registered GW student in a degree or non-degree program. |
| APPOINTMENTS: |
A free initial consultation can be arranged by calling 202-994-5300. Students will meet with a counselor for approximately one hour to clarify their concerns and to determine which services would best meet their needs. Recommendations may include one of our workshops, group programs, brief individual counseling, or referral to a local counselor or psychotherapist. |
| CONFIDENTIALITY: |
All University Counseling Center records and counseling services are confidential and are not a part of your George Washington University record. We do not release information outside the Center without your written consent except in emergency life and death situations and as legally required (e.g., child abuse, court orders). |
| FEES: |
The initial consultation is free. The group fee is $75 per semester. Workshops are free. There is a $40.00 fee for test materials for the Career Decisons Workshop. Individual counseling sessions are $50.00 an hour for full-time GW students and can be adjusted when there is a financial need. |
| APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY: |
If you need to cancel an appointment, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice so that we may offer the time to another student. If you do not show for an appointment or do not call 24 hours in advance, you will be charged for the session. |
