Accreditation & Membership
The University Counseling Center (UCC) is accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services Inc. (IACS). Accreditation by IACS is based upon evidence of high standards in counseling practice, counseling services, and counseling staff. All UCC staff maintain appropriate licensure in counseling or psychology.
The Counseling Center is also a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) and its doctoral level internship training program has earned separate accreditation through the American Psychological Association (APA).
