As I complete my second year as President of The George Washington University, I can assure you of one thing—you are in for an unparalleled experience. You will make new friends, learn from insightful professors, become acquainted with hundreds of student organizations, and be in a position to explore what our extraordinary location—Washington, D.C.—has to offer. The city holds a wealth of opportunities that will complement your coursework—from community service in neighborhoods to experiential learning on Capitol Hill and in the many museums and research institutions. I hope you will take advantage of the myriad of opportunities and resources in the city, on campus, and in the classroom to build a truly unique GW experience.

Our alumni alone total some 220,000 around the world, 70,000 of them in the greater Washington, DC, region.
