Experience D.C. offers first year students two and a
half days to become familiar with GW while exploring D.C. in small groups of
8-10 incoming freshmen lead by an upperclassmen guide. Depending on the tour
option, students will receive personalized guided tours of several of the
Smithsonian museums, government buildings, monuments and other D.C. landmarks.
Groups will dine at cultural infused eateries and visit some of the nation's
most famous theaters or unknown areas of interest. Join us and your
fellow peers on one of four tour options:
* Intro to DC
* Arts and Culture of DC
* Diversity in the City
* History of DC
Participating in Experience
D.C. will help you learn how to get around the city and make friends in the
nation's capital before school starts. Program
