As a member of the incoming Class of 2013, you will be participating in an innovative summer reading program designed to ease the transition to your new academic environment.  The program will provide you with an educational and fun experience that will reinforce the model for academic excellence set forth by GW.

Facilitated by the Office of the Dean of Freshmen, the summer reading program will give you a unique opportunity to share your ideas and thoughts, connect with GW community members, challenge your own intellect, and learn about different viewpoints from your peers.

At CI you will learn more about the reading selection chosen by GW faculty and staff.  Then in the fall you will join small group discussions facilitated by members of the GW community including: faculty, staff, House Proctors, and GPS Guides.  This will serve as a great way to develop friendships and enhance your network of supporters.
