shampoo, soap, swimsuit, etc. (Sheets and towels will be provided.)
Spending money (although all meals are included for students)
 Umbrella
 Casual clothing (DC summers
are generally hot) and comfortable walking shoes
Two forms of identification, including one
US GOVERNMENT issued photo ID (drivers license, passport, etc.)
Documentation of any College Board Advanced Placement exams

Once you arrive at CI....

Driving around campus on the morning of Day 1 can be confusing, so we recommend parking as soon as you can, and accessing campus on foot.  Leave your luggage in the car while you take care of CI Check-in. You'll have plenty of time to get your luggage over to Madison, Crawford or Lafayette Hall after check-in!

We recommend taking a look at the tentative schedules.

*  Park at the Visitor's Garage (22nd and H Streets) and leave your luggage in the car!

*  Walk down the street to the Marvin Center (800 21st Street) and come up to the 3rd Floor for Check-in

*  After check-in, stop by your car, pick up your luggage and head over to your assigned residence hall (Madison, Crawford, or Lafayette) - Don't worry, the garage is not far from the residence halls!

*  After settling in to your room, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the schedule (given to you at check-in) before joining us for the first official event!
