Media & Communications Requests

All media (interviews, etc.) and communications requests (both for getting information about our programs sent to you as well as for our department to promote your event or program) should be made through Jeffrey Dagley, Communications Coordinator at gwcarctr@gwu.edu.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFO ABOUT INTERVIEW REQUESTS:

We will do our best to accommodate your interview request, however, please keep the following in mind when making the request:

1.  The Career Center is receiving a much higher volume of interview requests due to the usual end of the academic year inquiries about the University's graduating class and employment outlook, heightened this year by the current national economic and employment situation.  We ask that requestors be patient as we try to accommodate the request while taking into consideration issues such as staff availability.  If you wish to interview students, we suggest contacting our office at least 72 hours prior.

2.  ANY and ALL interview requests made to the Career Center  - including those from GW sources such as The GW Hatchet and The Daily Colonial -  are required to first be vetted by our department through the Office of the Vice President for Student & Academic Support Services as well as the University's Office of Media Relations (http://www.gwu.edu/~media/) before the interview may take place.  Please keep this in mind when considering your timeframe and deadlines.

3.  In your interview request, please list your general timeframe for when you would like to conduct the interview and include your deadline.  Please note that we will try to accommodate requests made with less than a 48-hour deadline, however, we may not be able to honor them.

4.  If you would prefer, you may email your questions to gwcarctr@gwu.edu.
