What is Responsible Alcohol Management Training (RAM)?
Responsible Alcohol Management (RAM) Training is a certification workshop for any GW student, faculty or staff member facilitated by the Center for Alcohol and other Drug Education. RAM Training is an interactive 60 minute workshop facilitated by GWise Peer Educators that allows for open discussion about realistic alcohol issues that impact our community. During this workshop, participants will learn the ABCD policy of GW as well as the Alcohol Medical Amnesty.By engaging students in activities, they will gain a deeper understanding of the process for event registration. After the completion of the training, participants will become a certify Responsible Alcohol Manager.
Who must attend RAM training?
Every student organization that plans to serve alcohol at an event that is sponsored in whole or in part by their organization MUST have Responsible Alcohol Manager per every 20 attendees.Multiple representatives from all student organizations are encouraged to attend.

What if I would want to have a special RAM training for my Group?
If you're interested in having group RAM training, we will do our best to accommodate your group. Contact CADE at least TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE: By completing the Group RAM Training Request Form below
Please check to see if any of the open trainings above work with your schedule.
Those from your group who can not attend the open sessions, we will try our best to accommodate with group trainings; however if your group is small we might combine your group with other groups requesting training. Requests for times after 9:30pm will not be accepted and request for Friday or Saturday will not be accepted. Please fill out this form within two weeks of the date you are requesting. Thank you for working with us to accommodate the entire GW population.
