These self-guided assessments are designed to teach you about the choices you make and the consequences of those choices in order to assist you in making safer and healthier decisions in the future. 

The Electronic THC Online Knowledge Experience (E-TOKE®) is marijuana-specific while E-Check Up to Go (E-CHUG®) is an alcohol-specific brief assessment and feedback tool.   

These assessments take about 10-15 minutes to complete.  When you access E-TOKE® or ECHUG® you are prompted to enter information about yourself.  After completion and submission, you will receive a feedback form to print.  You will also be able to print a Certificate of Completion from the final page of the assessment tool. 

IF YOU ARE SANCTIONED TO TAKE THIS ASSESSMENT, YOU MUST:

• E-TOKE: Print and bring the Certificate of Completion to the SJS  by the deadline given to you from or the Office of Student Judicial Services.
• E-CHUG: Verify completion by selecting SJS from the drop down menu on the resources page by the deadline given to you from the Office of Student Judicial Services.

Please note that the assessment will ask specific behavior based questions to measure attitudes and behaviors around alcohol or marijuana usage.  All responses are strictly confidential.  Since E-TOKE® and E-CHUG® ask no questions from which students could be personally identified; you can feel confident that providing truthful answers – no matter what they are – as they will not put you at any risk for repercussions. 

To begin E-TOKE:

       1.       Go to: http://interwork.sdsu.edu/etoke/GWU

     2.   Click Begin and answer all the questions.

     3.   Once on the last page called Resources, click on the ‘Print Feedback  
           Form’ button on the right side and print.

    4.   Click on the ‘Certificate of Completion’ button on the right side and print.

    5.   Return the Certificate of Completion to the Office of Student
          Judicial Services before the deadline previously given to you.

To begin E-CHUG:

1. Go to: http://interwork.sdsu.edu/echug2/GWU     
2. Write down and keep your User ID number as verification of beginning the program.

3. Click Begin and answer all the questions. *If you are taking E-CHUG for your participation in a CADE Workshop or Class, select which number you were previously given on the first page in the drop down menu.  If you are not, select Not Applicable.*
4. Once on the last page called Resources, click on the ‘Print Feedback Form’ button on the right side and print.
5. Type in your name and GWU email address in the ‘Verify Completion’ box.
6. Add your GWID on the next page and select SJS in the drop down box labeled ‘Send my verification to:’ before the deadline previously given to you by the Office of Student Judicial Services.

         *If you are taking E-Chug for your participation in a CADE Workshop
           or Class, send verification to CADE by choosing CADE in the drop
           down box labeled 'Send my verification'.
