Welcome to the CADE Resource Center! Our purpose is to provide you with state-of-the-art, up-to-date information, research and statistics in the collegiate atmosphere regarding alcohol and other drug abuse.
We are a hub of information to address your particular needs; whether you’re interested in the latest research about alcohol and health, the impact of marijuana smoking on the brain or the possible consequences of various decisions involving high risk drinking, we are the place for you. If you want to learn how various drugs might impact your academic performance or you are trying to satisfy your curiosity regarding the effects of study drugs or you just want to educate yourself on different types of drugs, then you’re in the right place.
The Center for Alcohol and other Drug Education has a wealth of information for all students at GW, regardless of your previous experience with alcohol or drugs. We can give you tips and methods for drinking responsibly and also help you find alcohol and drugs rehab centers within DC metro area that accept all type of insurances.
CADE has a library of books that are available to check out free of charge! From textbooks and educational references to memoirs written by addicts to self help books and more! We also have brochures and pamphlets on all types of issues relating to alcohol and other drugs. Stop by our office in Thurston Hall at 1900 F Street NW to see our library.
