Session
Led by an Admissions Officer and a current GW
student at the Visitor Center, this hour-long
information session introduces you to a variety
of campus offerings, both academic and extracurricular,
as well as acquaints you with the admissions
and financial aid processes.

Foggy
Bottom Campus Tours (view
map)
Walk through our historic Foggy Bottom campus
neighborhood with a Student Admissions Representative
and visit a residence hall. Tours last approximately
one hour and follow the information session.

Mount
Vernon Campus Tours (view
map)
Tours last approximately 30 minutes and are
led by a Student Admissions Representative.
The Vern Express, a shuttle bus, provides
easy access to the Mount Vernon campus from
our Visitor Center. The Vern Express
will return you to Foggy Bottom.

Lunch
with a Student
An opportunity to have an intimate conversation
with one of our current students at an on-campus
dining venue. (Available for the prospective
student only.)

Closer Look at our Campuses
The following options must be scheduled in advance
by calling the Visitor Center.
- Meet with professors,
coaches, and other campus resource staff.
- Sit in on a class matched to your
academic interests.

Interviews
An interview is not required
for admission; however, as an applicant, if
you elect to participate in an interview, it
will be considered in the Admissions process.
We offer a variety of interview options which can be found through the GW Admissions Activity Center.

School of Engineering and Applied Science Tours
Tours of Tompkins Hall, home to the School of Engineering and Applied Science, are available Mondays and Fridays at 12:15pm and 1pm. This brief tour explores the classroom and laboratory facilities available to GW engineering and applied science students. The tour begins in Tompkins Hall Room 104.

Each fall and spring, the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Office of Admissions come together to offer a special visit program for students who have an interest in engineering and applied science. During these programs students have the opportunity to meet with professors and current students, tour campus and laboratory facilities, and learn more about engineering at GW. Multicultural Open Houses
Multicultural Open House Programs are offered in the spring and the fall. During each Open House, students and their parents will have the opportunity to meet professors, administrators, and current students; learn about admission, financial aid, and merit-based scholarship processes, and tour campus.
