Directions
The Visitor Center is located in the Academic Center on our Foggy Bottom campus at 801 22nd Street, NW. The entrance to the Visitor Center is located in the breezeway of the Academic Center across H Street from the Gelman Library entrance. Since street parking is extremely limited, we encourage you to use Metro or taxi.
Metro (subway) Accessible
The Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro subway station is located on campus, just two blocks from the Visitor Center, and accessible to both the Blue and Orange lines.
Airport and Amtrak Accessible
We are convenient to Reagan National Airport and Union Station (AMTRAK) by either taxi or Metro. From Dulles International Airport, you may take the Washington Flyer to many downtown hotels. Arrivals to Baltimore-Washington International Airport may take the Super Shuttle or AMTRAK directly into Washington, DC.
Visitor Parking
Parking is available in the Visitor
Lot, the entrance which is located on I Street between 22nd and 23rd
Streets. The Visitor Lot charges $16.00 per day and is subject to
change.
