Our mission is to provide a first-rate education to our students including renowned faculty, state-of-the-art classrooms, and a living and learning environment that supports a healthy overall experience. The George Washington University is committed to helping families meet the costs of this college education. Through our fixed tuition plan, our guaranteed financial assistance program, and our generous merit and need-based assistance, GW offers families the means to meet college costs. Our families tell us that the fixed tuition plan takes much of the guess work out of financing higher education. Last year alone, private institutions nationwide raised their tuition an average of 6.3 percent. So while tuition elsewhere is subject to annual increases, the cost of a GW education, once set, remains constant.
