Scholars in Quantitative and Natural Sciences

A unique opportunity for students interested in biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, mathematics, or statistics who wish to engage in a specialized interdisciplinary curricular experience. The Scholars in Quantitative and Natural Sciences Program includes four components:

  • an integrated science course sequence during the freshman and sophomore years
  • quantitative or life-science course tracks in the junior and senior years
  • research projects with GW faculty and research partners
  • participation in a living-and-learning community during the freshman year

Through these options, the Program provides students with the ability to broaden their scientific understanding and have experiences beyond those of a typical science major. Students seeking additional information about Scholars in Quantitative and Natural Sciences may contact Professor Rob Donaldson at robdon@gwu.edu.
