    Highlights:

    • Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library houses an extensive collection of biomedical and public health resources, including nearly 25,000 medical monographs, more than 1400 active journal holdings, and 1500 electronic journals, textbooks, and databases.
    • SPHHS frequently hosts seminars and high profile speakers on campus that highlight current issues in the field of public health. Some recent examples included an FDA seminar on nanotechnology, a seminar on the role of public opinion and polling in national health reform with Bill McInturff, partner and co-founder of Public Opinion Strategies, and "HIV Testing, Care, and Treatment through the Lenses of Technology and Policy" with Dr. Charles Gilks, head of Treatment, Prevention, and Scale Up in the HIV/AIDS Department at the World Health Organization.
