Six-Year B.A./J.D. Program

GW offers freshman applicants the opportunity to be considered for early admission into The George Washington University Law School, one of the country's premier law schools. This accelerated program allows exceptionally qualified students to complete a bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctorate in six rather than seven years. Matriculants to the Program complete their first three years in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences and enter GW Law in their fourth year of study.

In addition to being ranked in the top twenty of the nation's law schools, GW Law offers individual areas of study that are also well regarded. These programs include intellectual property, international,  environmental, and clinical training. Because of its prominence and its location in the capital city, graduates of GW Law occupy prominent positions including many federal and states judges, Cabinet officials, and members of Congress.
