DC Neighborhoods

As a culturally diverse city, Washington, DC prides itself on its lively and vibrant neighborhoods. Each neighborhood has a distinctive style, culture, and cuisine where GW students can indulge their appetites, creative nature, and historical curiosity. DC's neighborhoods have much to offer: from U Street Corridor's music clubs to Foggy Bottom's international resources, from Adams Morgan's range of ethnic food options to Downtown's sports venues. Added to this fun are opportunities for academic research and exploration at places like the National Zoo in Woodley Park, the Eastern Market on Capitol Hill, the Phillips Collection at Dupont Circle, and the Arena Stage in Southwest. The best part is that the city is easily accessible via Metro, bus, and walking.
