Getting Around

GW’s location makes it easy for students to move around the city. Much of what undergraduates want and need is in walking distance of our two campuses. Students can easily explore the city and be involved in internships because of our proximity to businesses, government agencies, private companies, research groups, and think tanks. In addition, GW has its own Metro stop which links students to shopping malls, airports, and the train station. When all else fails, there’s the city’s extensive bus system and taxis.
